Synopsis
In a world overflowing with distractions, striving to be beloved to Allah can feel like a distant goal. But through this deeply intimate Halqa, Dr. Haifaa Younis takes us into the heart of a hadith Qudsi that lays out a clear path — a divine roadmap — to gaining Allah’s love.
Through the words of our Prophet ﷺ, narrated in Sahih Bukhari, we learn that Allah’s love is not arbitrary; it is earned through sincerity, consistency, and devotion in both our obligatory duties and voluntary acts of worship (nawafil).
This Halqa will be a spiritual deep-dive into what it truly means to be a wali (close ally of Allah), how to cultivate a heart Allah loves, and the transformative impact of divine nearness on every part of our lives — from the way we see, hear, walk, and live.
To reflect deeply on the hadith Qudsi and its meaning in our everyday lives. To understand the spiritual journey from performing obligatory duties to consistently embracing nawafil (voluntary worship). To internalize what it means to be a wali (close friend) of Allah — and the protection and victory promised by Him. To provide practical tools for nurturing sincerity, love, and presence in worship, especially for women juggling daily responsibilities. To create a safe, spiritually nourishing space for sisters to connect, reflect, and support one another in their pursuit of nearness to Allah.
